Bye for Now

“What is a weekend?”

Quote from Dowager Countess of Grantham as played by Maggie Smith

Most of us, unlike the ruling class on Downton Abbey, have worked and lived with the work-week and weekends. We also have looked forward to that summer holiday, or the spring get-away trip, or skiing in the winter. A break from the routine, time away from the day-to-day slog, for rejuvenation, and to re-energize. The civilian version of R&R.

That time for me is now.

Oh, stop griping.

It is just for two months.

Claire and I are working on more stories and posts for our blog, but we’re taking a break from posting to the blog for the months of July and August.

We’re still around and WordPress will let us know if you want to get in touch through the website using the Contact tab. Feel free to do so.

And, this is important so pay attention, we’ll be back on 7th of September. Look for new blog posts, probably excerpts from new stories, and perhaps a performing monkey or free-range rabbit quoting Shakespeare or doing Irish dancing.

If you’d like to be notified via email when new posts arrive, simply click the “Follow” pop-up at the bottom right corner of any page of the blog and enter your email address.

See you in September.
