From Peer Review to Peer Revue

Well, OK, not an entire revue, but one song that I hope you’ll enjoy as I did.

My friend and former boss, Bill Wagner, retired about 15 minutes or so after I did. Since retiring, he is composing and recording in his home studio. In addition to that, he foolishly agreed to be one of the folk to read my stories early in their formation. He doesn’t hand out trophies but he is pretty quick with an ‘atta boy’. His council has been welcome.

Before Claire had all the stories completely ready for publication, Bill recorded a song he wrote called “Someplace Else,” which I heard and thoroughly enjoyed. I complimented him on his lyrics and he laughed and said that I wrote some of them. No wonder I liked them.

Bill has refined “Someplace Else” a bit and, with his permission, we’re sharing it with you.
